CAVALIERS
Ronnan,
It’s been almost a year now and I thought I better give you an update on our beautiful Westie.  This is Ingrid, a.k.a. Violet.  Ingrid was named after my favorite old-time actress.  She was groomed today.  The woman who grooms her has show dog grooming experience and she’s the only one I’ve found who knows what a Westie should look like.  Two groomers have butchered her hair and she ends up looking like a white Scottish terrier or a Schnauzer.
Ingrid is gentle with our kids.  The baby is 7 months old now.  A few months ago, Laney was lying on her play mat on the living room floor.  Ingrid decided she needed to check out Laney.  Laney caught a hold of Ingrid’s whiskers.  Ingrid did nothing except whine until my husband went to release her.  She nipped once at Cory (the almost three-year old) but that’s because he was giving her a “hug.”  I know I made the right decision by getting a Westie!

Baxter with his new "daddy" Tom McWhirter from Texas. "Baxter is great! We celebrated his 1st birth day May24, 2007. He loves to run around the coffee table and chew his toys! We love him so much", Carol McWhirter.
Hi Ronnan, just a quick note to let you know that our new baby is doing very well. She has developed a friendship with our old Sheltie, Jenny, and it is wonderful for Jenny because it gets her moving. Carolle is delightful and we are having so much fun playing with her. We're still working on housebreaking, but I think we're 75% there..she knows what to do when we go outside. We start obedience training next month! Best Wishes,
